Just like we have Mother's Day and Father's Day, South Korea has Children's Day. As hard as these kids work, it is necessary to have (at least) one day where they are totally allowed to be a kid. Children's Day is a national holiday so there is no work (for some of us, anyways). The amusement parks and anything for kids is waaaay overcrowded. We had a party at school the day before Children's Day.
The kids are allowed to wear whatever they want that day.
His shirt matches my crayon.
The kids all got new Sungmin Bags.
It's fun to have a day just to play (especially for the teacher)!
